Good morning and happy December. I'm up at 6 a.m. waiting for sunrise so I can put up some Christmas lights outside before going to work at 9 a.m. Our small Christmas party is tonight... I did the Costco shrimp last night, and Karen has ordered honey garlic wings and spring rolls from Orient Chef, a nice Chinese place. (No, not her mom!)
We need women for this party... it seems all my friends are at a point in life without at partner! Rob just broke up with Donna after 3 years, Dick divorced from Maureen a year ago, Tom Scali divorced... Luckily Karen may have a girlfriend or two over so it doesn't turn into a bachelor party with egg nog! Scary thought!
Photo is from Christmas on Las Olas, our 3rd year in a row. It's the "Rodeo Drive" of Fort Lauderdale, and all the stores stay open, performances by school choirs, Santa, food and drink samples, etc.
Gotta get the lights up and head to work!
