2008 Family Calendar

Greetings from c-c-cold South Florida. Our coldest day in 5 years today. Low's this a.m. around the mid to high 30's. Needless to say, not much happening at my pool bar so I got home early and got a good days work in on the 2008 family calendar. Just waiting on a few more bits of info. and I will be ready to publish.

The newest software allows you to drag and drop a headshot of the birthday boy or girl right into the actual square on the calendar date which is kind of neat seeing at a glance whose birthday is coming up, instead of reading the type in the square.

Happy Birthday to Mom! I'm off to bed, while she's at the local pool hall with her new cue. Karen and I will have to figure out how to work the heat in this house!

Hi everybody! I'm 65 again! Marianne is trying to show me how to use the blog. I still need to set up my own account. Mar is here to take me to lunch at the William Penn Inn. Help with headshots

Hey everyone!
I know we talked about this at Grammie's party but if anyone can help me pick out my Miss GA headshots I would greatly appreciate it! I need four different looks: one from the brown for the Miss GA program, one from the silver for the Miss GA website, one standing with the crown for the Miss Rome website and program for next year, and one of me sitting with the crown on to be printed in black and white for autograph signing events. So far here are my choices:

Brown: jh-15
Silver: jh-104
standing: jh-160 or 215, I'm leaning toward 160
sitting: this is where i am totally lost! maybe 261?

These are just my favs so its fine if you like a different one. And seriously don't feel like you have to look through all of them, just if you have an extra minute I would appreciate some help!

Mike & Karen's New Year's Eve

Happy New Year all. Got home from work about 10:30 p.m. and hit the local Weston bar Swig with Karen and Rob for the New Year's Eve celebration. Home by 1:30 a.m. and up at 6:30 a.m. today for work. We had a high of 84 degrees today, but the weather will be the coolest we've had in 5 years the next two days. Will plunge as low as high 30's tonight and tomorrow night. Of course I'll be working the pool bar Wed and Thurs in a sweatshirt.

Thanks for all the party photos. Karen and I would have loved to have been to the great Northeast for the holidays.

Carag's New Year's Eve

Happy new year, everyone! We had a great new Year's eve..Jess, Brian and I were in the hot tub for awhile, Jun's sister jean, Her daughter Camille, and baby Zander were here..we had a relaxing day after I got out of work at 12noon. Jun had to operate all day, then we got ready for the big "Miller Party" in Bel Air. I have to say, it was a blast! it didn't start until 8pm, I was yawning on the way over, but once we got there..I drank Champagne, then fresca, and was awake all evening! They had our whole family there, Sue's relatives, lots of our friends, etc..about 25-30 people! Mom you would have enjoyed it! Here are some pics... We are relaxing today and packing for our Colorado trip. I'm cooking a pork roast for dinner.

A Mary Foley Christmas party

Mom had a great party Sunday night..I took lots of good pictures which I'll send out on old fashioned email rather than post 25 pics here! I'll just add a few here..but we had good drinks (thanks for the cosmo Dan, cripes I'll give you the 50 cents to buy cranberry juice and sweet lime juice!!!) The appetizers, dinner and desserts were all delicious! The kids had fun together, and we enjoyed a few songs from Jackie(14G and Taylor, the Latte Boy). Kerry came with JT, she looks great and the baby is adorable. It was so good to see everyone, but Mike, Karen, Dev, Patch, Joni and Bob were missed!
